Services

When I started researching pricing options for this, I noticed a very clinical payment schedule that bemoaned the idea of an hourly rate. But then they added charges for resubmissions.
And different scales for references vs. body text vs. charts/diagrams/etc.
And styling work.
And minimum charges.
And extra revisions.
And formatting.

I prefer to give you a cost for your project that includes everything. I’m going to work as hard on your initial basic proofread as I am on your final line edit, and I don’t see why you should be charged more every time you contact me.

That said, if you reallyreallyREALLY prefer an option to pay by the word or hour, I’m happy to accommodate that. Please contact me for more information on both options.

Below is a brief summary of what I can do for you.

Extras

Book Synopsis
I am also available to write, or help you write the synopsis for your jacket cover. Many of the authors I’ve spoken to have told me that creating the synopsis for the book jacket is the hardest part. They’ve spent so long immersed in the world of the book that everything seems important enough to be included! As an objective outsider, I can help you include the most important parts to make your synopsis as engaging as your whole book.

How long does it take? 2 days on average.
COST: $50

ISBN
International Standard Book Number (ISBN) are unique identifiers that are used internationally. ISBNs are free for Canadian authors publishing in Canada. The fee listed here is just to cover the time taken to apply for it. ISBN application is included in both Basic and Hardcore packages listed above.

How long does it take? The application process can take up to 10 business days.
COST: $5
